A film is born three times.
First in the writing of the script, once again in the shooting, and finally in the editing.
Filmmaking is never an easy process. It's full of insecurities, worries, and doubts. That’s why you need a great editor to stand by your side :)

That’s right! Ya-Ting “Itchy” Yang writes and directs, too!
Odd/Even the Soft Sci-fi
In the near future, people only wake up in odd-numbered or even-numbered years and hibernate during their inactive period. An Odd Citizen, Renée, applies to change her active period to even-numbered years to escape from a toxic relationship.
About Ya-Ting
“Itchy” Yang
Ya-Ting “Itchy” Yang was born and raised in Taiwan as a natural optimist who loves animals and people-watching. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science-International Relations along with a minor in Drama and Theatre. (Yup, she thought that she wanted to be an ambassador...)
Itchy finished her MFA degree in Film & TV production at USC in 2022. She is a recipient of the George Lucas Family Fund for Diversity. Her thesis film “Odd/Even” earned laurels as an official selection at many esteemed film festivals, including the Atlanta Sci-Fi Film Festival, Vancouver Asian Film Festival, and Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival. The film won BEST DIRECTOR in the Indie Suspense Horror Sci-fi Festival and Cosmic Film Festival. “Odd/Even” is available worldwide now on the DUST channel.
In addition to directing, Itchy thrives in the post-production world. Editing, to her, is like sewing as well as driving an 8-ton truck. She finds great joy in piecing together elements with meticulous care and delivering the final product that clients have eagerly awaited. Her goal as a writer/director/editor is to collaborate with an international crew to make films featuring culturally diverse casts.
Itchy is the host of the podcast series, 𝓩𝓮𝓻𝓸 𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷, in which she interviews foreigners living in America. They talk about their experience as international students/workers and their observations of the American Culture.
